We work to create a wide spectrum of flat knit products from smooth, fine gauge pieces to a coarser or thicker-look fabric. Our flat knit team works year-round, knowing when to use the proper knitting needle gauge to create anything from a lightweight all-season flat knit cover-up to a warm, winter-weight chunky flat knit. We understand how to work with a wide range of gauge units — measuring the number of needles in one inch width of the machine needle bed — covering 7gg to 16gg across our Shima Seiki computerized flat knitting fleet.

Our Shima Seiki computerized flat knitting machines support Intarsia, Jacquard, Computer Embroidery, Print, Pointelle, Rib structures, Fully-Fashioned shaping, Tuck & Miss, and more — along with all kinds of flat knit stitches. Every technique is programmed digitally and executed with exact repeat accuracy across your entire flat knit order.

Seamerge has its own quality assurance system to produce superior quality flat knit products of various styles, with the aim of achieving full customer satisfaction. We have introduced an Independent Quality Control Team (IQCT) who reports directly to management only — not to the production floor — ensuring unbiased inspection at every critical milestone. Detailed, photo-documented QC reports are shared with every buyer on completion of each flat knit order.

Our in-house sample room runs in parallel with production. You receive accurate, factory-true flat knit samples built on the same Shima Seiki computerized flat knitting machines, to the exact same standard as your bulk flat knit order — fast, with no third-party delays. Free physical yarn and stitch samples are available on request so you can evaluate quality, texture, and colour accuracy in-hand before placing any order.
