Knitting Department
Our core production is powered by a fleet of Shima Seiki Computerized computerised flat knitting machines. The latest electronic Japanese flat bed fully-fashion knitting machines ensure consistent tension, flawless jacquards, and rapid turnaround for bulk OEM and ODM orders.
Primary Checking
This is the process to check the knitted panel. After knitting the different pieces of a product, our knitting inspectors check the quality of the knitted fabric on the basis of different criteria — stitch count, gauge consistency, pattern accuracy, and dimensional compliance against the approved tech pack.
Primary Panel Inspection
100% in-line quality check at the point of production.
Linking — Panel Assembly
Stitch-for-stitch seaming of front, back, and sleeve panels.
Linking Department
Operators linking panels stitch-by-stitch for invisible, durable seams.
The working procedure of this section is to link the different panels to produce a complete knitwear product. In the linking department the operator links the different panels by using a linking machine — producing seams that match the tensile strength of the base fabric.
CMT — Cut, Make & Trim
Complete garment assembly — linking, cutting, mending, pressing, makeup.
CMT Area
CMT stands for Cut, Make and Trim. This area encompasses linking, cutting, mending, pressing and makeup departments — all collocated to reduce inter-department handling time and maintain assembly sequence quality from panel through to finished garment.
Mending
In this process there are specialist operators for repairing defective panels and products. Mending operatives re-run dropped stitches, correct float errors, and hand-finish any machine irregularities before garments proceed to pressing — ensuring no defective piece reaches the final QC stage.
Mending Department
Specialist repair operators — zero-defect standard before pressing.
Lamp Checking — Inspection Kit
UV and filter-light inspection reveals defects invisible to the naked eye.
Lamp Checking
In this process, products are checked by using inspection kits with filter light inside the cylinder. This is a standard method in premium knitwear QC — UV and filtered illumination reveals hidden defects, foreign fibre inclusions, repair work, and colour inconsistencies that are completely invisible under standard factory lighting.
Pressing
The objective of knitwear garment pressing is to give permanent shape to the garments and to improve the aesthetic value. Pressing knitwear requires considerably heavier steam pressure than woven garments. Our industrial boarding and pressing machines set the exact final dimensions of each garment, matching the approved sealed sample.
Industrial Steam Pressing
Heavy-pressure boarding sets permanent shape and final dimensions.
Lock Stitching
Collar, label, and trim attachment — threads locked for permanent security.
Lock Stitching
A lock stitch is a fundamental stitch on any sewing machine — when the machine forms single stitches, the top and bottom threads lock together, keeping them permanently secure in the fabric. Used at Seamerge for collar attachment, care label sewing, brand label placement, and all trim work requiring a sewn fastening.
Our Skilled Workforce
Highly trained, experienced operatives — uniform, precise, high-quality output across every process.
Makeup — Assembly
Our makeup department comprises a variety of machinery enabling us to ensure your garment is finished to the highest quality standard — creating a perfect look and fit for your customer. Makeup encompasses all final assembly steps: button attachment, zipper insertion, embellishment, and any bespoke trim application specified by the buyer.
Makeup — Final Assembly
Buttons, zippers, trims — finished to the highest retail standard.
